Italian Boxer Angela Carini Aims for Olympic Medal in Memory of Father

Angela Carini, a 23-year-old Italian boxer, is competing in the Paris Olympics to honor her late father.

Carini was born in 1998 and began boxing at a young age. She has since won several European championships and is ranked 14th in the world in the welterweight division.

Carini's father passed away in 2020, and she has said that she is using the Olympics as a way to honor his memory. "I want to win a medal for him," she said. "He was my biggest fan and he always believed in me."
