Exclusive: Wheelchair Dancer Chelsie Hill Announces Pregnancy

From Dance Studio to Motherhood

Chelsie Hill, the founder of the wheelchair dance team The Rollettes, is expecting her first child. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 30-year-old professional dancer, community leader, content creator, wife, and mother shared her inspiring story of perseverance, inspiration, and living out her dreams.

Dance as a Unifying Force

Hill, who uses a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury she sustained at age 17, believes dance is a universal form of expression that transcends physical limitations. "Dance is dance whether you're walking or rolling," she said. "It's a way to communicate, to connect with others, and to express yourself. And it's for everyone."

A Dream Come True

Hill's pregnancy is a culmination of her unwavering determination to defy expectations and live life to the fullest. "I have always dreamed of being a mother, and I'm so grateful to be able to share this journey with my husband and our extended family," she said. "It's a testament to the power of love and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead."
